We are currently seeking experienced RNs to cover our critical weekend units. This is an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility while enjoying the vibrant culture of Austin.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the nursing supervisor.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease prevention.
- Respond to emergency situations with composure and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety regulations set forth by the facility.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team-based environment.
- Computer proficiency with electronic health record systems (EMR).
