Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and adverse reactions
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations using rapid assessment and critical intervention skills
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards during procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (required)
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong proficiency in Epic electronic health records
- Demonstrated critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
