Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient conditions throughout the shift.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient documentation.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Missouri.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Strong patient-centered care philosophy and interpersonal skills.
