Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient health and recovery throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Respond to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and efficiency.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Oregon.
- ACLS and BLS certification required (PALS preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
