Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during weekend shifts, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform accurate patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical records.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Commitment to adhering to hospital policies and patient privacy regulations (HIPAA).
