Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with medical protocols and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, identifying changes in condition and intervening appropriately.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
