Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, symptoms, and changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Document patient care activities, including observations, interventions, and responses.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure.
