Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical exams and history taking.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and alert the healthcare team to any changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue activations.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
