Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, documenting all changes promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, procedures, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure safety.
- Respond to emergent situations with calmness, efficiency, and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred (1+ years).
- Strong computer skills for electronic health record (EHR) documentation and communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
