Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with provider orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations, including rapid response and code blue alerts.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with a focus on medical-surgical or telemetry units.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive healthcare team.
