Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs by taking vital signs, medical history, and performing physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies or changes in status promptly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
