Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
