Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environment following OSHA and facility protocols
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks repeatedly
- Strong documentation skills with EMR proficiency
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with potential holiday rotation
- Clear TB test and background check within last 6 months
