Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations in accordance with clinical standards
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions for acute and chronic conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state license with quick Arizona endorsement)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in Med/Surg or ICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
