Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and perform EKGs/vaccinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Sterilize equipment and prepare exam rooms
- Handle patient intake and vital sign measurements
- Coordinate lab tests and specimen processing
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma/certificate from accredited program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Ohio MA certification or eligibility
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
