Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to emergency situations and prioritize patient safety effectively.
- Teach patients and families about health conditions and self-care techniques.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including day, night, or rotating schedules.
