Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in electronic health systems.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical situations with high-level clinical judgment.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance policies.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (FL) or New York (NY).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work alternating weekends (Friday through Sunday) as required.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
