Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care with clinical excellence and empathy
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients/families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety standards
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Valid NYS RN license (active and unrestricted)
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
