Job Overview:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of our patient care team. You will assess patient needs, implement care plans, and provide compassionate medical support in a dynamic hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of Kansas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
