Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
