Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes to the charge nurse or physician.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide clear and compassionate patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of patient care in electronic health records.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
