Job Overview:
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and monitoring patient health. You will work closely with RNs and LPNs to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care in a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent bedsores and ensure safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient condition, and reactions to medications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Ohio CNA license (CNA-I or CNA-II).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
