Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on response.
- Document patient care services in medical records accurately and timely.
- Provide health education and instruction to patients and families regarding medical conditions and wellness.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care support when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
