Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms, to ensure timely interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and completely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care management.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN License in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
