Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided accurately in the electronic health record.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
