Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms, changes in condition, and reactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and home care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and medical records.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the role.
