Job Summary:
As an RN at Apex Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our community. You will provide direct patient care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of treatment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Computer literacy and ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
