Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and administer appropriate interventions to stabilize patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
