Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient data thoroughly and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond to emergencies with composure and execute critical interventions.
Qualifications
- Current RN License in the state of Virginia (or compact state eligibility).
- BLS and ACLS Certification required (PALS may be required depending on unit).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems for documentation.
