Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations with appropriate intervention.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Education and counseling of patients and families regarding health conditions and care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
