Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including pain levels and vital signs, to ensure optimal recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and adherence to safety standards.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and disease management.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high patient volumes.
