Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license (or compact license eligibility)
- BSN degree with 1+ years of clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Strong communication abilities with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
