Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with medical standards.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, documenting changes and communicating updates to the healthcare team promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgeons, and other interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond to medical emergencies with immediate action and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are mandatory.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
