Responsibilities
- Provide virtual chairside assistance during tele-dentistry appointments
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling via our HIPAA-compliant platform
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments remotely using our digital inventory system
- Assist with virtual patient consultations and post-procedure follow-ups
- Coordinate lab orders and digital radiograph transfers
- Maintain accurate digital documentation of all procedures
- Train patients on at-home dental care protocols via video calls
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA or RDA)
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Experience with telehealth platforms and digital radiography
- Strong communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
