Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in-home care including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team promptly
- Assist with mobility, transportation, and light household tasks
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Coordinate telehealth appointments and virtual check-ins when applicable
- Build trusting relationships with clients and family members
- Adhere to care plans and safety protocols consistently
Qualifications
- State-certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital tools
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
