Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and periodontal treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging technology
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Manage patient records electronically through our HIPAA-compliant EHR system
- Handle remote scheduling, billing inquiries, and insurance verification
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for clinical procedures
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Dental Assistant license or certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology certification
- Ability to manage hybrid workflow (clinical + remote tasks)
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Experience with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
