Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during dental procedures with precision and care
- Take digital dental radiographs and impressions using advanced equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for optimal efficiency
- Assist with patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Document clinical notes accurately in our digital patient management system
- Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Hawaii Dental Assistant license or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
