Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take dental impressions and process X-rays
- Manage patient records using digital systems
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient flow
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) systems
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with remote oversight
- Flexibility to support hybrid scheduling (3 remote days/week)
