Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Administer medications and track dosages according to prescribed schedules.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's overall well-being.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for the client.
Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in home health care or personal assistance preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
