Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescriptions through our digital pharmacy system while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve medication discrepancies and ensure patient safety
- Manage inventory controls and coordinate medication deliveries to Anaheim-area healthcare providers
- Provide exceptional remote customer service via phone and digital platforms for patient inquiries
- Maintain precise electronic health records and documentation per regulatory standards
- Support pharmacy operations during periodic on-site shifts at our Anaheim facility
- Participate in continuous training for new medications and pharmacy technologies
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license with at least 1 year of experience
- Proficient in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell) and digital health records
- Strong knowledge of FDA medication regulations and pharmacy safety protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in prescription processing
- Excellent communication skills for remote patient interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity in a home environment
- CPR certification and familiarity with sterile compounding procedures preferred
