Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collection in clinical settings
- Process and transport specimens with precise documentation using our remote tracking system
- Provide exceptional patient care and education during blood draw procedures
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance for all digital and physical records
- Coordinate with remote lab teams for sample analysis and result reporting
- Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy equipment following safety protocols
- Participate in virtual quality assurance reviews and continuing education
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- 1+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong understanding of OSHA and CLIA compliance standards
- Exceptional communication skills for both in-person and virtual interactions
- Ability to work independently with remote oversight
- CPR certification and basic life support training
- Valid Louisiana driver's license for occasional site visits
