Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collection following strict safety protocols
- Process and transport specimens with meticulous attention to chain-of-custody procedures
- Maintain detailed patient records using our HIPAA-compliant telehealth portal
- Provide exceptional patient education and emotional support during procedures
- Collaborate with remote clinical teams via digital health platforms
- Ensure equipment calibration and inventory management at assigned sites
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy or related field
- Proficiency with telehealth documentation systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
- Valid California driver's license for mobile site coverage
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
