Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields in hybrid OR environments
- Coordinate remote sterile processing workflows via digital platforms
- Assist surgeons during procedures using telehealth monitoring systems
- Manage surgical inventory through cloud-based inventory management
- Train staff on remote sterile processing protocols
- Comply with OSHA and AORN standards in virtual and physical settings
- Participate in virtual case reviews and team huddles
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 2 years OR experience
- Experience with telehealth or remote monitoring systems
- Proficiency in sterile processing documentation software
- Strong communication skills for virtual team collaboration
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Flexibility for hybrid on-call rotations
- Valid Ohio surgical tech license
