Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile equipment for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations with instrument handling and wound exposure
- Manage sterile processing remotely via our digital inventory system
- Maintain sterile environments per OSHA and AORN standards
- Coordinate with surgical team for case-specific instrument needs
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience in sterile processing
- Proficiency with telehealth inventory management platforms
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures
- Ability to work independently on remote tasks
- Valid Wisconsin Surgical Tech license
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
