Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth patient assessments via video/phone consultations
- Determine medical urgency and prioritize patient care pathways
- Document clinical encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Collaborate with on-site providers and specialists for complex cases
- Provide health education and self-care guidance to patients
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency or urgent care
- BLS/ACLS certification and current CPR credentials
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR or similar documentation systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
