Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments using EHR-integrated telehealth systems
- Prioritize patient cases using standardized triage protocols and clinical judgment
- Provide evidence-based health advice and coordinate care with local providers
- Document encounters accurately in Epic EMR with 99% compliance accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases requiring escalation
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for remote care delivery
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all virtual interactions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- BLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Proven triage experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth settings
- Expertise in clinical decision-making and critical thinking
- Strong communication skills with ability to de-escalate anxious patients virtually
- Proficient in telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Epic EMR systems required
