Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments using HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
- Make accurate clinical determinations for urgent/non-urgent cases per established protocols
- Provide clear, empathetic patient education on symptoms and next steps
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Handle high-volume call center inquiries during peak hours
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience in ER/urgent care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with telehealth systems (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills across diverse demographics
- Experience with Epic or EHR systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
