Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures, including oral surgeries and restorations
- Manage patient intake, digital charting, and insurance documentation
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions for prosthetics
- Implement infection control protocols and emergency response procedures
- Coordinate patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
Qualifications
- CDA certification or Oregon Dental Assistant license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
