Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone/video consultations and determine appropriate medical urgency
- Provide accurate clinical guidance and discharge instructions to patients
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex case escalation
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience with ER/urgent care background
- BLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities with diverse populations
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and EHR systems
