Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize emergency cases using standardized protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice via phone and telehealth triage systems
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and preventive measures
- Monitor patient flow and resource allocation in emergency settings
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license (or compact license)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 1 year ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
